MOU Signing Ceremony between VTC Academy and Kake Educational Institution
VTC Academy, a leading IT and design academy in Vietnam, has announced a partnership with Kake Educational Institution (Kake Gakuen), a renowned entity from Japan, to introduce a remote bachelor’s degree program in the field of Information Technology. This collaboration promises to provide Vietnamese students with access to advanced education and open up new opportunities.
A new training model in Vietnam
Japan stands as one of the world’s leading nations in education, ranking 6th on the US News and World Report’s education index. It has become a prime destination for Vietnamese students aspiring for higher education.
The aspiration to access Japan’s advanced and humane education system has long been a dream for many Vietnamese youth. However, not everyone has the means to pursue international studies abroad, given various factors such as financial constraints, adaptation to new living environments, and psychological pressures.
Addressing these challenges, on the morning of April 21, 2024, VTC Academy signed an agreement with Kake Educational Institution, aiming to launch a remote bachelor’s degree program. Kake Educational Institution is one of Japan’s largest education conglomerates, comprising three major universities. According to the agreement, students enrolled in the Information Technology program at VTC Academy can opt for a 4-year undergraduate degree alongside faculty from Okayama University of Science, one of Kake Educational Institution’s major universities, through online instruction.
Additionally, leveraging its extensive experience in teaching IT-related disciplines, VTC Academy plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of remote education and meeting the Japanese standards. Upon completion of the program, students will possess a solid foundation to pursue employment opportunities in Japanese companies or further their studies at the master’s or doctoral levels in Japan.
It is worth noting that this is an entirely new training model in Vietnam, built on the idea of harnessing the power of technology and improving the learning environment to optimize the quality of education.
VTC Academy’s chairman: “The future of education is limitless”
Mr. Hoang Viet Tan, Director of VTC Academy, emphasized that this collaboration enables students to receive the best quality education and a Japanese university degree without the need to travel far from home, alleviating financial concerns for families with children aspiring for international education.
“This is an education program without geographical boundaries. Students enrolled in VTC Academy’s program with Okayama University of Science will receive direct instruction from the university’s faculty according to Japanese standards through online teaching, supported by VTC Academy’s team,” Mr. Hoang Viet Tan stated.
Mr. Hoang Viet Tung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VTC Academy, affirmed, “I believe that the future of education is limitless. As educators, we need new ideas and models to shape the future of education.”
According to Mr. Hiroyuki Hirano, President of Okayama University of Science, Vietnamese youth demonstrate significant potential, eagerness to learn, and particularly quick adaptability in the field of Information Technology.
“Noticing that the university offers many high-quality educational and research programs, I am delighted to establish a partnership with VTC Academy and sign a cooperative education agreement with the institution. For students, we will provide more training in Japanese language proficiency and business culture, with the aim of equipping them with the necessary skills to work at Japanese companies in Vietnam or in Japan,” Mr. Hiroyuki Hirano remarked at the event.
