[VTC Academy x Google Developer Student Group] INFO SESSION 2023: “Tech Talk: Industry Insider – Stories of Occupation”

On February 18, 2023, VTC Academy had a special time accompanying the student community of Google Developer Student Group – DUT at the Info Session 2023 event with the theme “Tech Talk: “Industry Insider” – Telling the story of “Occupation”.

VTC Academy was honored to be the venue sponsor and accompanying the students in this special event, helping them shape their development roadmap and make the right career choices.

The event featured prestigious speakers in the industry such as Ms. Nhi Nguyen – Developer Community Manager Vietnam, Philippines and Greater Mekong; Mr. Su Minh Thanh – Software Engineer at GearInc, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Yen Tung – Agile Coach/Senior SM/SM Training at One Tech Stop Vietnam, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao – Product Owner at One Tech Stop Vietnam to share their practical experiences in the technology field.

Google Developer Student Group (GDSC) is a club for university or post-university students who are interested in the technology field and aspire to become professional developers. GDSC helps students build a solid knowledge foundation while being able to implement strategic solutions for businesses.

The INFO SESSION 2023 event with the theme “Tech Talk: Industry Insiders- Telling the story of Occupation” is an annual event organized by GDSC and has attracted a lot of technology students. The event aims to share with students the “secrets” that have not been revealed in the IT field or to listen to interesting stories about being a Dev from experts. In addition, the event answers questions for young people about the skills needed to become a Developer in the future as well as career orientation.

INFO SESSION 2023 has attracted a lot of attention and enthusiastic participation from students. Through this, it can be seen that many young people today have a lot of interest in choosing their profession, especially in the IT field.

Through the event, students have a clearer view of the IT field such as Frontend, Backend, Mobile, AI/ML,… so that they can come up with suitable directions and potential development for developers in the current innovation market. In addition, there are also sharing sessions deriving from practical experiences and challenges in the career path of the distinguished speakers from big IT companies, answering students’ concerns about career orientation.

Google Developer Student Group is for students who love and have a passion for the field of Information Technology, especially the club that always organizes special events related to IT to provide career guidance for young people. This is quite compatible with VTC Academy – a unit with over 12 years of experience in training and teaching in the field of Information Technology. VTC Academy always uses business standards as the output standards for students, so after graduation, young people can start working immediately.

Hopefully in the future, VTC Academy and Google Developer Student Group will have more opportunities to collaborate and bring meaningful events that support young people in their career orientation.
