Hana Financial Group (Korea) cooperates with VTC Academy & VTC Online to train IT talents in VN

The 2018 IT talent development program funded by Hana financial group (Korea) in cooperation with VTC Online and VTC Academy aims to find and train IT talents in Vietnam. After the ability assessment test at VTC Academy, 27 excellent contestants were shortlisted from more than 150 contestants. These are totally qualified to take part in the training course in terms of capabilities and qualities.

In the afternoon of 13th December, at Grand Plaza Hotel in Hanoi, Hana financial group in cooperation with Vietnam-Korea Culture Exchange Center and VTC Online/VTC Academy organised The Opening Ceremony of the 2018 IT Talent Training Course.

Participants in the ceremony includes Mr Yoo Si Wan – Director of Hana IT, Mr Ham Jin Sik – Director of Hana Bank, Hanoi branch. Besides, there were some other participants such as Mr Le Doan Hop – former Minister, Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Telecommunications; Mr Cong Anh – Assistant of Deputy Minister, Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Telecommunications; Mr Lee Chul, Ambassador Counselor – South Korean Embassy in Vietnam. This shows the fact that IT talent development in Vietnam has received great interest.

Mr Yoo Si Wan, Director of Hana IT delivered the opening speech at the Opening ceremony.

Mr Yoo Si Wan, Director of Hana IT said “At present Vietnam is an important partner for not only enterprises but also for our country. Therefore I hope that IT talent development project funded by Hana financial group will be a technological connection between Vietnam and Korea”.

At the same time, he also expressed his interest in the future of the digital technology and the growth brought about by the training of young and excellent IT talents in Vietnam. Besides, Mr Le Doan Hop – Former Minister, Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Telecommunications – also expressed his belief in the success of this program funded by Hana group.

In his speech at the Opening ceremony, Mr Lee Chul – Ambassador Counselor – South Korean Embassy in Vietnam – gave great compliments towards students selected to take part in this training program.

“I would like to congratulate those on taking part in this course. I believe that after this course you will become talented men of your country. Vietnam-Korea Culture Exchange Center has organised a lot of social voluntary activities, so I believe that this event will be a success.

At present, Vietnam is chosen to receive a lot of investment from Korea. In Korea there are over 6000 enterprises which are currently doing business in Vietnam. I think that this training program can bring about a lot of talented people to contribute to the society. I believe that this program is not only a short-term project but it will also continue to develop in the future”, Mr Lee Chul said.

The students expressed their determination to finish the 2018 IT talent development course.

At the ceremony, representative of all students in this course gave a speech to show their determination to fulfill the course with the highest result.

“Korea is one of the most developed countries in the world, especially in the field of IT. Knowing that Hana finanical group is the sponsor for this course, we decided to register in the hope that we can learn a lot of really valuable knowledge and experience. We promise to fully attend the course and get the best result”, Phan Thanh Tung said.
